Lot 15. Frances Cleveland (1864-1947). First lady, wife of Grover Cleveland. In part, "I shall be happy to send you a photograph of my father.... I think I have some earlier ones of Mr Cleveland which I could lend you also.... I am much interested in your idea. Sincerely, Frances F. Cleveland Preston." Includes printed portrait of Mrs. Cleveland, commissioned by a former American Minister to China.

Light overall surface soiling, collector’s pencil notes in lower portion of each sheet.
