Erno Dohnanyi (1877-1960). Hungarian conductor, composer, and pianist. Using his position as a conductor, Dohn?nyi pioneered the performance of Bart?k's more accessible music to boost its popularity. Unlike most other famous pianists of the time, Dohn?nyi did not limit himself to solo recitals and concerto solos, but also played chamber music.
